How do I get started?
In order to place a bid, you need to register with our site. Your first name, last name, and email address will be private, but your username will be visible.
Please use an email address that you check regularly; this is what we will use to contact our winning bidders. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose.
Even if you registered for last year’s auction, you need to register again this year. (We know how hard it is to remember a login and password one year later, so we wiped the database.)
Who can bid?
Anyone. This auction is open to makeup lovers anywhere in the world.
How much is shipping?
When you bid, you are bidding on an item and its delivery. Each participating blogger or brand donates the cost of shipping. So of course you can bid as if you were paying for shipping — and the full amount of your winning bid goes to Doctors Without Borders.
Why can’t I bid yet?
The auction goes live on Monday, November 28. Until then, you can preview the items for sale.
What is bookmarking?
Bookmarking is a way of remembering your favorite auction items. You can sort the auction items by name (alphabetically), by best value (a ratio of current bid to retail price), or you can filter the list to see just the items you’ve bookmarked.
Can I donate money, even if I don’t win an item?
Of course you can! This is our secure giving page.
Can I donate makeup to the auction?
