This how to guide will help you no matter your skill level…enjoy!
Watch Youtube Tutorials
There are hundreds of Youtube tutorials out there, so you will definitely be able to find one that tells you how to do exactly the look you want. This is how I learn how to do everything, hair, makeup, nails, the lot! Search for different tutorials and practice them to create professional looks – you don’t need to be an expert anymore!
Buy Quality Makeup
Buying cheap makeup from market stalls might not be the best idea if you want a professional look. You don’t have to pay the prices of the luxury makeup ranges, but decent ranges like Maybelline, Rimmel, and Max Factor are the kind of brands you should be purchasing. Not only that, you need to buy makeup to suit your skin type too! If you don’t know your skin type, get it looked at by a professional on the beauty counter.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Perfect eye makeup is all about practice. You’ll need to practice with different colours, brushes, techniques, etc to get a professional look. Don’t be disheartened if it doesn’t look very good the first few times, as you’ll get there in the end providing you put the effort in. If all else fails, you can always use eyeshadow from Majic beauty – they’re so simple to use with a professional outcome each time!
Purchase a Good Set of Brushes
Makeup brushes are very important, and although they might be expensive, they’ll last a lifetime if looked after properly.
Experiment With Colour
Different eyeshadow colours will suit different skin tones, eye colours, and hair colours. Experiment to find which colours best suit you and your own personal style! Try to have fun with your eye makeup looks to make an impact.
Apply Striking Lashes
No stunning eye makeup look is complete without a pair of striking eyelashes applied on top. You can always use a lengthening mascara and an eyelash curler if you already have pretty nice eyelashes, but you just can’t beat the impact you get from a set of Eylure lashes. You can have them as natural or as thick as you like, so select the kind depending on the look you’re going for. Many girls have trouble applying them, but there’s a knack to it:
Apply a good layer of glue making sure you let it get tacky for a few moments, and as you do that bend the eyelashes gently in an eye shape so it will sit on your lid properly straight away. Start at the inner corner and press gently outwards as close to the lash line as possible. Keep your eyes shut for a few moments afterwards to make sure they’re firmly applied before blinking or doing anything else, and your eyelashes will look perfect!
