We all know that drinking water is good for your skin, but drinking normal water can become a bit boring. If you are looking to increase your water intake and want to make it a bit more exciting then why not try making some grapefruit and mint water!
I must admit, that I didn’t come up with this recipe myself, I came across it here on the internet – http://www.kinetico.co.uk/drinking-water/simple-water-recipe-book.aspx and the one I made can be found on page 13.
This took about 2 minutes to make. The longest part was going out to the garden to pick the fresh mint, but as you can see by the picture, the mint is only small as its still early in the year so it hasn’t had much chance to grown. If I was to make it again, I would buy some mint from the supermarket.
If you are not a fan of grapefruit, I think this would work really well with strawberry and mint. Grapefruit is an acquired taste and one that I don’t mind but my friend who tried it said she would have preferred a different fruit.
So there you have it, a nice quick easy way to make water easier to drink and you also get the benefit of having some fruit as well.
